Jessica (우정; also as Ujung) is a Chinese singer under SW Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group UDTT. She is also a former member of the Chinese girl group IS GIRL and a pre-debut member of the upcoming girl groups I.MET.U and E11iVyn.
She made her solo debut with the digital single "仲夏夜梦" on July 17, 2022 under her birth name Lu Yuting (陆雨婷).
She is also known for being a contestant on the survival shows Chuang Asia Thailand and Time Turner.
Career[]
2019-2021: IS GIRL[]
In 2019, Lu Yuting was revealed as a member of the children's girl group IS GIRL.[1] The group made their official debut on June 12, 2019 with the digital single "星魔法学院".
Shortly after the release of the group's second digital single "Just A Girl" on July 21, 2021, the group was assumed to be disbanded.[citation needed]
2022-2023: Solo debut with "仲夏夜梦"[]
On July 17, 2022, Lu Yuting made her solo debut with the digital single "仲夏夜梦".
2024: Chuang Asia Thailand, Time Turner and I.MET.U[]
On January 15, 2024, she was revealed as a contestant on Chuang Asia Thailand.[2] She ranked 18th in the finale, thus being unable to debut with Gen1es.
On October 21, she was confirmed as a contestant on PI Corporation and Makestar's reality show Time Turner.[3] During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 3rd overall, thus making her a part of the debut lineup of I.MET.U.
2025: Departure from I.MET.U and E11iVyn, Debut with UDTT[]
On January 17, 2025, Lu Yuting announced her departure from I.MET.U even before making her debut after coming to a mutual agreement with PI Corporation to step down from the group to pursue her other dreams.[4][5]
On February 9, it was revealed that she has joined Moai Entertainment's upcoming girl group E11iVyn.[6][7]
On March 19, E11iVyn posted a version of their lineup reveal where Lu Yuting had been edited out, suggesting her departure from the group. Content where she was present had also been deleted from their SNS accounts.[8]
On April 28, SW Entertainment announced that a Chinese member would be joining their girl group UDTT.[9] The next day, it was revealed through an exclusive interview with Nugu Promoter that Lu Yuting would be joining the group as their fifth member under the stage name Jessica.[10] The group performed as five on April 29 during their debut stage performance at The Show.[11]
