Jein (제인), formerly known as Amin (아민), is a South Korean singer, rapper and model. She is a former member of the girl groups HeyGirls, HeyMiss, Fantastie, Cupid, and Honey Girls.
Career[]
2015: Honey Girls[]
On January 11, 2015, she debuted as a member of Honey Girls with their first digital single "Again", under the stage name Amin. Sometime after this release, she left the group alongside fellow member Hani.
2016–2017: Cupid and Fantastie[]
In March 2016, she was introduced as a new member of Cupid, following the departure of Sarang and her initial replacement Yera. She later left the group during their transfer to Narda Entertainment and stayed with IN Entertainment.
Shortly after this, Amin became a member of IN Entertainment's new girl group Fantastie and debuted as a member of the group on December 15, 2016 with their first self-titled digital single "Fantastie". She was a member of the group until their unofficial disbandment in November 2017.
2018: HeyMiss[]
She joined HeyMiss in June of 2018, after the group went through a complete lineup change. She presumably left the group in 2019, again never officially debuting in it.
2020–2023: HeyGirls[]
On June 30, 2020, she (now under a new stage name Jein) was introduced as one of the new HeyGirls members, together with Sara and Dami, a day after the departures of Jandi and Siyeon.[1] She officially debuted in the group on April 29, 2021.
On December 26, 2023, HeyGirls announced their disbandment.[2]
