Jang Yeo Jun (장여준; or simply Yeojun) is a South Korean singer. He is a member of the project boy group CLOSE YOUR EYES.
He is also known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows Wild Idol, Boys Planet and Project 7.
Career[]
2021: Wild Idol[]
On August 12, 2021, Yeojun was introduced as the 36th contestant of the survival show Wild Idol.[1] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the third episode and was unable to make it further in the show.[2]
2022–2023: Boys Planet[]
On December 29, 2022, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys Planet, representing Jellyfish Entertainment.[3] On March 2, he was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking 62nd place.[4]
2024-2025: Project 7, debut with CLOSE YOUR EYES and Show Champion[]
On September 26, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7.[5] During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 6th overall, thus making him a member of CLOSE YOUR EYES.
The group debuted on April 2, 2025 with the mini album Eternalt.
On May 8, it was announced that Yeo Jun, along with Jeon Min Wook and 82MAJOR's Nam Seong Mo, would become the new MCs for MBC's music program Show Champion. Their first broadcast as MCs will take place on May 14.[6]
