Jaeyun (재윤) is a South Korean-New Zealand singer under MNH Entertainment. He is the leader of the boy group 8TURN.
He is best known for participating in the reality survival shows BOYS24 and MIXNINE.
Career[]
2016: BOYS24[]
Jaeyun, under his name Alex Moon, joined his first idol reality survival show BOYS24 sometime in 2016 and was a member of their pre-debut boy group of the same name. He was a member of the show's Red Unit. By fan vote, he did not make it into the top ranks and was hence eliminated.[1]
2017: MIXNINE[]
In 2017, he participarted in the reality survival show MIXNINE. He was eliminated in the episode 10 after ranking 50th place.[2]
2022–present: Debut with 8TURN[]
On October 11, 2022, he was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group 8TURN (then known as BOM).[3] He was then officially introduced on October 25.[4]
They made their debut on January 30, 2023 with the mini album 8TURNRISE.
