Jacob (제이콥) is a South Korean-Canadian singer-songwriter under ONE HUNDRED. He is a member of the boy group THE BOYZ.

Career[]

Pre-debut[]

Jacob auditioned for LOEN Entertainment and passed.[2] In July 2015, he then went to Korea for a test period of two months before he was officially signed.[2] He then continued to train for almost 3 years.[2]

2017–2022: Debut with THE BOYZ, Simply K-Pop, and SoundCloud releases[]

On December 6, 2017, Jacob officially made his debut in THE BOYZ with the release of their debut mini album The First.

On May 25, 2018, Jacob, alongside Kevin, was announced as the new MCs for the Kpop music show Simply K-Pop.[3]

On January 30, 2021, Jacob released his first song, "I Belong", to SoundCloud.

On May 30, 2021, he released his first mixtape titled Kindle to SoundCloud with a total of 5 tracks.

On January 6, 2022, Jacob and Kevin then hosted their last episode as MCs on Simply K-Pop.[4]
