JUSTB (저스트비), formerly stylized as JUST B, is a six-member boy group under Bluedot Entertainment. They debuted on June 30, 2021 with their mini album Just Burn.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On January 30, 2021, it was announced all three remaining members of PlayM BOYS (Song Byeong Hee, Lim Jimin and Jeon Do Yum) moved to a new agency, Bluedot Entertainment.[2]
On the midnight of May 21, Bluedot released a coming soon teaser for their upcoming group JUST B.[3] Later that same day at 6PM KST, JUST B hosted a Twitter Spaces in which the six members (named L, J, D, B, S, and G) answered questions through live audio conversations.[4]
The following day, it was announced the group will make their official debut in the summer and that each member will be revealed starting on May 24.[5] On the midnight of May 24, Geonu was officially revealed as the group's first member,[6] followed by Lim Jimin on May 25,[7] DY on May 26,[8] Sangwoo on May 27,[9] Bain on May 28[10] and JM (currently known as Siwoo) on May 29.[11]
2021: Debut with Just Burn, "Just Beat"[]
On June 7, 2021, the group posted a photo teaser announcing their debut date to be June 30.[12] On June 13, the schedule for their debut mini album, Just Burn, was posted.[13]
On October 12, the group posted a promotion scheduler for their first single album "Just Beat", which was released on October 27.[14]
2022: Just Begun, = (Neun)[]
On March 23, 2022, JUST B posted a teaser for their second mini album, Just Begun, set to release on April 14.[15]
On October 26, JUST B dropped a teaser for their third mini album, = (Neun), set to release on November 16.[16]
2023: "JUST Be with you" project, "Camellia", ÷ (Nanugi), "I Luv You Merry Christmas"[]
On December 26, 2022, JUST B posted a teaser for their upcoming comeback.[17]
On February 7, 2023, JUST B unveiled a teaser for "Just Be With You Part.1", the first part of their "JUST Be with you" project, in collaboration with AleXa, set to be released on February 14.[18]
On April 3, the group released the first of a polaroid photo series, hinting at an upcoming comeback on April 12.[19] On April 9, their first digital single "Camellia" was announced.[20]
On August 17, JUST B dropped a coming soon teaser for their fourth mini album, set to be released in October.[21] On September 19, The name of the mini album was later revealed to be ÷ (Nanugi), set for release on October 9, 2023.[22]
On December 15, the group announced their first special single "I Luv You Merry Christmas", set to be released on December 22.[23]
2024: "Daddy's Girl", The CrewOne, Siwoo's hiatus[]
On May 6, 2024, JUST B announced they would be releasing the English digital single "Daddy's Girl" in May.[24] The release date was later revealed to be May 22.[25]
In a joint announcement released on June 27, IST Entertainment and Bluedot Entertainment announced that ATBO and JUST B will be teaming up to create a project group, The CrewOne.[26]
On July 19, Bluedot Entertainment announced that Siwoo's activities would be suspended for the time being due to recent behavior.[27] On December 6, the agency announced his return.[28]
2025: "Still I Luv You", """, Just Odd, name change, "Too Late", Snow Angel[]
On December 20, 2024, JUST B announced the digital single "Still I Luv You", scheduled for December 31.[29] However, the release was postponed to January 5, 2025 due to the recent Jeju Air Flight 2216 crash accident.[30]
On January 31, JUST B announced the digital single """, scheduled for February 12.[31]
On March 16, JUST B announced the digital album Just Odd, scheduled for March 28.[32]
In June, JUST B seemingly changed their name to JUSTB.[33]
On August 10, JUSTB announced their second English digital single "Too Late", scheduled for August 24.[34]
On September 12, JUSTB announced Angel Funding for their fifth mini album Snow Angel.[35] On October 13, they revealed the release date to be November 7. "Going South" was pre-released on October 24.[36]
