On November 17, 2025, LATENCY did a monthly evaluation in front of fans where they performed their first song "It Was Love".[1]
On November 18, it was announced that the group would be making their debut sometime in January 2026.[2] On December 27, LATENCY started unveiling the concept photos for their first single album "It Was Love", scheduled for January 8, 2026.[3]
