Into The Light is the first mini album by LIGHTSUM. It was released on May 24, 2022 with "Alive" serving as the album's title track.
This marks their final release with members Huiyeon and Jian following their departure from the group, which was announced on October 25, 2022.[1]
Background[]
On May 6, 2022, LIGHTSUM posted three teasers across their social media accounts that hinted at a potential comeback - their first in over 7 months.[2] Two days later, a teaser revealed the album's name, format, and release date.[3]
On June 9, Cube Entertainment shared that member Juhyeon's grandmother had passed away. They announced that she will temporarily be halting activities and would be sitting out promotions for the time being.[4]
