Indigo is the solo debut full-length album by RM. It was released on December 2, 2022 with "Wild Flower" serving as the album's title track.
The physical album comes in three versions: Book, Postcard (Weverse album) and LP.
Commercial performance[]
As of December 3, Indigo reached #1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 67 different countries and "Wild Flower" reached #1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 87 different countries.[1]
Circle Chart reported that Indigo sold 664,456 copies during the week of November 26 to December 3.[2]
Indigo sold 619,232 copies in its first week of release on Hanteo, which makes RM the fifth male soloist to sell over 500,000 copies in just a week.[3]
Indigo debuted at #45 on the UK's Official Albums Chart for the week of December 9 to 15.[4]
On December 12, Billboard revealed that Indigo had debuted at #15 on the Top 200 Albums chart.[5] Two week later, the album entered the chart again at #3 which makes RM the first Korean soloist to do so.[6] Indigo spent five consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 chart,[7] and seven weeks on the chart in total, making RM the first Korean soloist to do so.[8] The album also debuted at #2 on the Billboard Vinyl Albums chart.[8]
"Wild Flower" debuted at #83 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and at #1 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. Indigo debuted at #1 on the Billboard World Albums chart, #7 on the Billboard Current Albums chart, and #10 on the Billboard Top Sales chart.[9]
In Circle Chart's monthly chart, it was reported that Indigo sold 739,363 copies in the month of December.[10]On January 12, 2023, Indigo received a double platinum certification for surpassing 500,000 copies sold on Circle Chart.[11]
