Im So Young (임소영) is a South Korean actress and singer under Hanahreum Company. She is a former member of the girl group Stellar.
She made her solo debut on August 20, 2019 with the digital single "Breath".
Career[]
2017–2018: The IDOLM@STER.KR, Stellar[]
In April 2017, Soyoung became a contestant on the drama show The IDOLM@STER.KR under the stage name Serin. She was eliminated in the first public audition.
On May 18, 2017, she was announced as the newest member of Stellar.[1] She officially debuted with the group on June 27 with the mini album Stellar Into the World.
On February 25, 2018, the members of Stellar announced the group's disbandment after 7 years during a fanmeeting.[2]
2019: Solo debut[]
On July 7, 2019, Soyoung announced that she had signed with WK ENM and would be making her debut as a solo artist.[3] Her first digital single, "Breath", was released on August 20.
2023-present: Acting career[]
On February 2, 2023, she signed an exclusive contract with Hanahreum Company to start a new career as an actress.[4]
