Im Nayeon (stylized in all caps) is the solo debut mini album by Nayeon of TWICE. It was released on June 24, 2022 with "Pop!" serving as the album's title track.
The physical album comes in four versions: I'm, Na, Yeon, and Pop.
A limited edition vinyl was released on November 18, 2022. Pre-orders began on October 12 exclusively on the TWICE Official Store and Target in black and pink pop colors, respectively.[1][2][3]
Background[]
On May 19, 2022, a teaser photo was posted on TWICE's social media accounts announcing that Nayeon wouldl be making her solo debut with her first mini album, Im Nayeon, on June 24, 2022. Pre-orders for the album began on May 24 at 1pm KST.[4] A preview of the album packaging was revealed on May 24.[5] On May 31, the title track "Pop!" was teased on TWICE's TikTok account.[6] On June 7, a timetable was posted which revealed when videos and photos will be posted leading up to the album's release date.[7] Im snippet's for "No Problem", "Love Countdown", and "Candyfloss" were released on their social media accounts.[8][9][10]

On August 11, 2023, the music video for "Pop!" reached 200 million views.[11]
Commercial performance[]
On June 24, JYP Entertainment revealed that Im Nayeon had reached 500,000 stock pre-orders, the highest number of stock pre-orders achieved by any female soloist so far in 2022.[12]
Im Nayeon debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 chart, making her the first Kpop soloist to enter the top 10. In the first week of release it reached 57,000 equivalent album units. The album debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart, Top Album Current Sales chart, and World Albums. It also debuted at #7 on Billboard's Tastemaker Albums Chart.[13][14] The song "Pop!" debuted at #7 and "No Problem" debuted at #10 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. "Pop!" also debuted on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart at #7.[14] Nayeon is the first Kpop soloist to spend five weeks on the Billboard 200 chart with Im Nayeon.[15]
Hanteo reported that Im Nayeon sold 252,903 copies in its first week of release. Nayeon is the fourth Kpop female soloist to have 200,000 copies sold in a week.[16]
As of July 2022, Im Nayeon has sold 498,181 copies on Circle Chart.[17] The album is certified platinum for reaching pass 250,000 copies sold.[18] On November 10, Im Nayeon received a 2x platinum certification for selling over 500,000 copies on Circle Chart.[19]
The Recording Industry Association of Japan reported that "Pop" has earned a gold certification for reaching 50 million streams in Japan.[20] On August 23, 2023, "Pop" received a platinum certification for reaching 100 million streams.[21]
