Im Do Hwa (임도화; formerly known as Chan Mi) is a South Korean singer, rapper and actress. She is the maknae of the girl group AOA and a member of its sub-unit AOA Cream.
Im Do Hwa, then known as Chan Mi, made her debut as a member of AOA on August 9, 2012, with the group's first single album "Angels' Story".
2016: Debut with AOA Cream, acting debut[]
On February 12, 2016, she debuted as a member of AOA's second subunit AOA Cream with the digital single "I'm Jelly Baby". That same year, she made her acting debut through a cameo in the web drama Click Your Heart.
2022–2023: GIRL'S RE:VERSE, Queendom Puzzle[]
On November 11, 2022, she was revealed as a contestant on the survival show GIRL'S RE:VERSE, where she used the name 'Dohwa'.[3] She was eliminated in the show's first round after ranking 26th overall. Following the program's conclusion, it was announced she would change her name to Im Do Hwa.[4]
On May 2, 2023, it was reported that Dohwa would participate as a contestant on the survival show Queendom Puzzle.[5] She was eliminated in the final episode after ranking 14th.
2024: Departure from FNC Entertainment[]
On May 21, 2024, Im Do Hwa announced through her Instagram that she left FNC Entertainment.[6]
