Background

On January 19, 2024, DAYCHILD opened up a crowdfunding project for their upcoming album Illumination through the platform Rising Star, running until March 1. However on February 19, the project was canceled due to DAYCHILD's reorganization following member Roy's departure. On March 15, the group announced the launch of a new crowfunding project, running until April 14. On April 22, it was announced that they will release their first single album "Illumination" on May 6.
