Ikema Ruan (Korean: 이케마 루안; Japanese: 池間 琉杏) is a Japanese actress and singer under KISS Entertainment. She is a member of the project girl group Gen1es, and the female trainee group KISS GIRL'S.
She is best known for being a contestant on the South Korean reality survival show, Girls Planet 999 and the Thai reality survival show, Chuang Asia Thailand.
Career[]
2013: Acting debut[]
In 2013, Ruan debuted as an a child actress in the film, The Sango Rangers.[1]
2021: Girls Planet 999[]
On July 7, 2021, Ruan was confirmed as a contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[2] Her official profile was released on July 19.[3][4] She was almost eliminated after the first round of eliminations but was saved by the planet pass, given by the planet masters.[5] Unfortunately, on the 11th episode, which was aired on October 15, Ruan was revealed to have been eliminated following the third round of eliminations with her final rank being J05.[6]
On November 12, she was revealed to be under KISS Entertainment.[7]
2022–present: KISS GIRL'S, Chuang Asia Thailand, Gen1es[]
On December 10, 2022, she was revealed as the first member of KISS Entertainment's female trainee group KISS GIRL'S.[8]
On December 31, 2023, Ruan was confirmed as a contestant on the Thai-Chinese reality survival show Chuang Asia Thailand during Thai shopping mall Icon Siam's Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024.[9] During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 2nd overall, thus making her a member of Gen1es.
She debuted with Gen1es on September 6, 2024 with the EP Hourglass.

Ruan is a student at Kanagusuku High School in Naha, Okinawa. She previously attended their middle school, Kanagusuku Junior High School, Naha, Okinawa.[10][11]
