"Ice Cream" is a collaboration digital single by BLACKPINK and American singer Selena Gomez. It was released on August 28, 2020 as the second pre-release single from the group's first studio album, The Album.[1]
The single was first announced on May 17, 2020 along with the plans for BLACKPINK's three-part comeback, as a "special kind of a new song", to be released between July and August.[2]

On August 21, 2020, official merchandise was made available through the group's shop by Interscope Records.[4] Additional items were made available on August 28.[5]
On September 7, YG Entertainment revealed official "Ice Cream" merchandise on its official shop YG SELECT[6]. Additional items were added on September 29.[7]
