Ian (이안) is a South Korean singer under Fantagio. He is a member of the boy group LUN8.
He is also known for participating in the reality survival show I-LAND.
Career[]
2020: I-LAND[]
On June 4, 2020, Sungchul was introduced as a participant in the CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment's then upcoming survival show I-LAND.[1] On the first episode, he performed "Shoot Out" by MONSTA X, along with Jaebeom and Jimin and was able to enter "I-LAND".[2] However, during the second episode, he was "eliminated" as he received 9 votes and placed in "Ground".[3] On the seventh episode, he was unfortunately eliminated from the show and was unable to participate in Part 2.[4]
2023: Debut with LUN8[]
On April 3, 2023, Sungchul was introduced as LUN8's first member under the stage name Ian.[5]
They debuted on June 15, 2023 with their first mini album Continue?.
