Background

On May 24, 2023, Brave Entertainment announced that DKB is preparing for a new album, aiming for a comeback sometime in June. A few days later, the group released a teaser for their sixth mini album, I Need Love, which will be released on June 14.

Composition

The title track 'I Need Love' is a house pop song with an attractive and addictive chorus. It contains a message that can provide warm comfort to those who are losing light in a cold and dark world, and the message of hope that wants to provide strength to anyone in difficult and lonely moments is captured with DKB's unique bright and positive energy.

'More Than 100 Reasons' is a rhythmic new jack swing genre song that stimulates curiosity with romantic lyrics that run counter to the exciting rhythm. In addition, the diverse vocals of DKB members, rapidly changing beats, and powerful rap lines captivate ears.

'Feeling' is a hip-hop R&B-based song, with the unique rhythm of hip-hop and slow jam added to create a groovy sensibility. The confusing emotions of longing for a former lover and DKB's sorrowful voice were added to enrich the song's emotions.

'1 on 1' is a joint song between DKB’s rapper line E-Chan and GK, and is a unit song that was enhanced with the support of producer Red Cookie. In this song, DKB appeared on JTBC's <PEAK TIME> and added sincerity by melting the emotions and feedback he felt while preparing for each stage into the lyrics. It is a song that contains a strong ambition to run further since it is still a 1:1 situation, and is a song with a drill hip-hop rhythm. Emotional voice samples come together to create a sense of immersion.

'I Need Love (Outro)' marks the finale of this album with its rich sound.
