INTER GIRLS (인터걸스) was a cancelled girl group under Inter B.D Entertainment.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On August 1, 2021, Inter B.D Entertainment announced that they would "come back with more delightful contents for you very soon."[1]
On August 11, 2021, Inter B.D announced their girl group, INTER GIRLS, would be performing at the 2021 Atlanta Korean Festival, held from September 25 to 26. The group would also hold performances in Alabama and New Jersey following their Atlanta stage.[2]
Sometime in late 2021, Lua left the group.
On February 21, 2022, the group created a Naver Blog where they announced that they would aim to debut in the first half of 2022.[3]
On March 21, 2022, it was announced that INTER GIRLS was preparing for an online/offline K-Stage broadcast on the 27th and would be holding their first fan showcase titled "INTOYOU：What Is Your Color?" on April 2 at Yangcheon Cultural Center in Seoul.[4]
On March 23, 2022, they released their first digital single, "바쁘니까 끊어."[5]
On June 27, 2022, it was announced that they are aiming to release their debut album in 2023.[6]
On August 2022, Dara and Soul appeared as new members of the group, and it is presumed that Aire and Leena have left the group.[7]
On September 25, 2022, Rika appeared as a new member of the group, and in addition Soul had left the group.[8]
On November 21, 2022, they had another line-up change, according to their website, with new member Model whereas Rika left the group, and Dara changed her stage name to Gaeun.[9]
It is presumed that INTER GIRLS have disbanded sometime in February-March 2023 following the inactivity of their official SNS accounts, the deleting of Instagram account, and some trainees returning to Yoma Entertainment.
Aftermath[]
- Lua joined MZMC Inc. as a trainee sometime in late 2021. Unfortunately, she left the agency in 2022. She joined the survival show Time Turner as O Nayoung in November 2024. However, she was eliminated by episode 3.
- Aire joined Inmedia's upcoming girl group WiTCHX in 2022 under the stage name Lucia. Model later also joined WiTCHX in 2023 under the stage name Niaa. It was later revealed that Inter B.D Entertainment would be co-managing the group along with Inmedia.
The circumstances of the remaining former members are unknown.
