II Rina (아이리나), also known as Jaeny (재니) and formerly known as Jaeeun (재은) or Park Jaeeun (박재은), is a South Korean singer, model and voice actress. She is a former member of the girl groups Kirots, UNIZ, 4X and the band Harmonitive.
She made her solo debut on July 7, 2010 with the single album "처음".
She is also known for being a contestant on the survival shows Superstar K1 and Girls Frontier.
Career[]
2007–2008: Kirots[]
Sometime in late October 2007 she was added to the girl group Kirots. Her first release with the group was the digital single "Christmas Gift" on December 13, 2007.
The group disbanded in late 2008.
2009–2010: Superstar K, Solo debut with "처음"[]
In 2009, she was a contestant on the survival show Superstar K1, finishing in 10th place before getting eliminated.
On July 7, 2010, she made her solo debut with the single album "처음".
2014: Harmonitive[]
On February 10, 2014, she made her debut as the lead singer of the band Harmonitive with the single "The First Harmonize".
The band never released any other music and presumably disbanded the same year.
2015–2017: UNIZ, 4X[]
On November 20, 2015, she debuted as a member of the girl group UNIZ with the digital single "Replay". The group became inactive and presumably disbanded in early 2016.
In mid-2016, she joined 4X and officially made her debut in the group with the release of the digital single "Secret Night" on August 5, 2016. She left the group sometime in 2017.
2020-2022: Modeling and voice acting career, "Yammy"[]
In 2020, she started working as a model and voice actress.[1][2]
On March 24, 2022, she made her comeback as a soloist with the digital single "Yammy".
2024: Girls Frontier, "Free!"[]
In June 2024, she auditioned and joined the live idol survival show Girls Frontier as a new member of the competing group Aka Ringo.[3] On September 9, 2024, she announced on her Instagram Stories that she had graduated from the group.[4]
On August 27, 2024, she released the digital single "Free!", under the new stage name II Rina.[5]
