II Rina (아이리나; also stylized as I:Rina), also known as Jaeny (재니) and Mama (마마), is a South Korean singer, model and voice actress. She is a member of the co-ed trot duo Daewang Mama, as well as a former member of the girl groups Kirots, UNIZ, 4X, Hidden Glow and the band Harmonitive.

She made her solo debut on July 7, 2010 with the single album "처음".

She is also known for being a contestant on the survival shows Superstar K1, K-pop Star 2, and Girls Frontier.

Career[]

2007–2008: Kirots[]

In October 2007, she was added to the girl group Kirots. She had her first release with the group on November 22 with the digital single "Strawberry 100% OST".

The group disbanded sometime in 2008.

2009–2010: Superstar K & solo debut with "처음"[]

In 2009, she was a contestant on the survival show Superstar K1, finishing in 10th place before getting eliminated.

On July 7, 2010, she made her solo debut with the single album "처음".

2014: Harmonitive[]

On February 10, 2014, she made her debut as the lead singer of the band Harmonitive with the single "The First Harmonize". The band presumably disbanded the same year due to inactivity.

2015–2017: UNIZ, 4X[]

On November 20, 2015, she debuted as a member of the girl group UNIZ with the single album "Replay". The group became inactive and presumably disbanded in 2016.

In May 2016, she joined 4X after Hyoe's departure.[1] She officially made her debut as a member of the group with the digital single "Secret Night" on July 25. She left the group sometime in 2017.

2020-2022: Modeling and voice acting career, "Yammy"[]

In 2020, she started working as a model and voice actress.[2][3]

On March 24, 2022, she made her comeback as a soloist with the digital single "Yammy".

2024: Girls Frontier, "Free!"[]

In June 2024, she participated in the live idol survival show Girls Frontier as a new member of the competing group Aka Ringo.[4] On September 9, she announced on her Instagram stories that she had graduated from the group.[5]

On August 27, she released the digital single "Free!", under the new stage name II Rina.[6]

2025: Hidden Glow, Daewang Mama[]

On January 10, 2025, she debuted as a member of the self-produced girl group Hidden Glow with the digital single "Spotlight", which was produced, written, composed and arranged by herself.[7]

On March 20, Kiki announced on her Instagram stories that the group had decided to disband, citing physical and financial struggles caused by an overwhelming workload, along with internal conflicts among the members.[8] The same day, I:Rina made a post on her Instagram account refuting the members' allegations against her and accused the members of cyberbullying her.[9]

On June 26, she announced that she had signed with DB Entertainment and would be debuting as one half of the trot co-ed duo Daewang Mama, under the stage name Mama.[10] The duo later made their debut with their first digital single "Blanket Of Love" on July 8.
