I.MET.U (아이멧유) is an upcoming four-member global girl group under PI Corporation. Formed through the reality survival show Time Turner, they will make their debut during the first half of 2026.
Their group name is derived from the survival show title Time Turner. It means the members and fans meet each other with the intention of creating special moments together, just like fate.[1]
History[]
Pre-debut: Time Turner[]
On August 28, 2024, PI Corporation announced their new girl group survival show project Time Turner, in collaboration with Makestar, which would air live on TikTok.[2] It is the platform's first ever real-time survival show.[3] It was later confirmed to begin airing on November 8, with the finale on November 22.[4]
On November 22, the five members of the debut team were announced.[n 1] Kelly Kim was revealed as the first member as she ranked first overall, followed by Sim Yerin, Lu Yuting, Cleo and Lea Navvab respectively.
On December 9, member Sim Yerin revealed the group name to be I.MET.U through a TikTok live.[5] It was confirmed a day later by fellow member Kelly Kim.[6][n 1]
On December 27, they appeared as a group for the first time on TikTok Live Fest: 2024 SHOUT-OUT Festival, performing their version of the Time Turner signal song "Find Me Now".[7][8]
On January 10, 2025, it was announced that I.MET.U would debut sometime later in the year.[9]
On January 17, Lu Yuting announced her departure from I.MET.U prior to debut after coming to a mutual agreement with PI Corporation to step down from the group to pursue her other dreams.[10][11]
On March 7, member Lea Navvab revealed that the group would be debuting in May and asked fans to wait for them. However, by mid-March, I.MET.U's official group activities and content on their SNS accounts have ceased due to unknown reasons.[n 2][n 3][12]
On May 23, member Kelly Kim assured the fans that I.MET.U is still happening and group activities would be resuming soon.[n 3] She also revealed that a meeting between the company and the group had been set up that day where they discussed their reworked concept and other group plans.[13]
After a few months of inactivity, I.MET.U reunited in June with the group performing as a four-piece for the first time at Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation's event on June 22.[n 2][n 3][14]
On July 24, I.MET.U announced their live variety show Build For U which would focus on building the identity of the group with involvement from the fans in preparation for their introduction and debut.[15]
On July 28, it was announced that I.MET.U would be introduced with a pre-debut single in October. This release is a special gift for the fans who have long awaited for the group's music since the end of Time Turner. The same day, it was also announced that group will have their official debut in the first half of 2026.[16][17]
On October 16, I.MET.U announced their pre-debut digital single "Velvet Trigger", set to be released on November 3.[18] On October 21, it was announced that the group would be pre-releasing "Still" on October 27.[19]

- The official group emoji is the cupid heart 💘.[22]
- They refer to themselves as "creatainers" which is a portmanteau of the words content creator and entertainer.[n 9][16]
- All of the members have careers prior to joining the group.
- Kelly and Lea are models and actresses.
- Kelly is also a DJ.
- Lea is a former member of VIVA and had made a solo debut in 2022 as J'LEA.
- Yerin is the former leader of Hi-L under the stage name Lee Jin and had released solo music in 2023 as CHERRYCHERRY on SoundCloud.
- Cleo is a dancer. She has also worked as a dance instructor in Bali, Indonesia.[23][24]

However, it was never formally announced which left the audience in confusion if it was truly their group name. Later on, the members themselves announced I.MET.U as their group name on their personal livestreams.

They were still seen practicing, hanging out and talking with each other during this period. Meanwhile, member Cleo had been in her home country, Indonesia, since January 2025. While no official information had been initially released, Cleo eventually revealed that she went back home to finish processing her work visa on I.MET.U's documentary, confirming fan speculation.
