Hyunbin (현빈) is a South Korean singer under Rain Company. He is the leader of the boy group Ciipher.
He is best known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows Produce X 101 and Fantasy Boys.
Career[]
2019: Produce X 101, STARSHIPZ[]
In May, he participated in Mnet's boy group survival show Produce X 101 representing Starship Entertainment. He finished the show in 32nd place, thus being eliminated in the eighth episode.[1]
On July 26, 2019, he was part as a member of Starship Entertainment's trainee team STARSHIPZ, after finishing Produce X 101.[2]
2020: Debut with Ciipher[]
On December 10, 2020, he was revealed as a member of the boy group Ciipher scheduled to debut in early 2021.[3][4] His profile picture was released on December 14.[5] The group debuted on March 15, 2021 with their first mini album I Like You.
2023: Fantasy Boys[]
On February 20, 2023, Hyunbin was introduced as a contestant on the MBC reality show Fantasy Boys.[6] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the eleventh and final episode, which aired on June 8, 2023.[7]
