Hyun Jun (현준; formerly known as Hwall and Hyunjun Hur) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, dancer and actor under Blossom Entertainment. He is a former member of the boy group THE BOYZ.
He debuted as a soloist on August 14, 2020 with the digital single "Baragi".
Career[]
2017–2019: THE BOYZ[]
Using the stage name Hwall, he originally debuted with the boy group THE BOYZ on December 6, 2017 with their first mini album The First.
On October 23, 2019, it was announced that he had concluded his activities with THE BOYZ to focus on his recovery after a leg injury.[2]
2020: Solo debut, acting career[]
On August 14, 2020, he released the music video for his first solo song "Baragi". The song was then released digitally on August 20 under his own label, Dia Note.[3]
Later that year, it was announced that he would make his debut as an actor through his role for the BL drama Color Rush.[4]
2022: Change of agency[]
On February 18, 2022, it was announced that he had signed an exclusive contract with Blossom Entertainment to resume his activities as an actor.[5]
2024: "Backseat"[]
On April 16, 2024, Hyun Jun shared that he will be making his return to music in 2 weeks.[6] On April 18, it was announced that he will be releasing his first single album "Backseat" on May 3.[7] On April 22, the single was made available for pre-order.[8]
