HyunJin (Korean: 현진; Japanese: ヒョンジン; Chinese: 贤真) is a South Korean singer and lyricist under her own agency Triangle ENM. She is the leader of the girl group Loossemble and a member of the girl group LOONA and its first sub-unit LOONA 1/3.
Career[]
2016: Reveal, solo debut[]
On October 28, 2016, she was revealed as the second member of LOONA. Her solo single album, titled "HyunJin", was released on November 17.
2017: Debut with LOONA 1/3, MIXNINE[]
She debuted as a member of the group's first sub-unit, LOONA 1/3, on March 7, 2017 with the mini album Love & Live.
In October, HyunJin, alongside fellow members HeeJin and HaSeul, became contestants on the survival show MIXNINE, representing their agency and group. She was eliminated in the finale after ranking 11th place.[2]
2018: Debut with LOONA[]
On August 20, 2018, LOONA debuted as a full twelve-member group with their first mini album + +.
2023: Departure from BlockBerryCreative, signing with CTDENM, Loossemble[]
On February 3, 2023, it was reported that HyunJin, alongside ViVi, would be filling a lawsuit to suspend their contracts with BlockBerryCreative after the court gave divided rulings on similar cases involving the rest of the girl group members.[3]
On May 9, 2023, it was reported that HyunJin, alongside ViVi, had won their lawsuits against BlockBerryCreative, thus automatically nullifying their exclusive contracts.[4]
On June 11, 2023, it was reported that she, alongside ViVi, had signed exclusive contracts with the new agency CTDENM.[5]
On August 2, 2023, she was revealed as a member of the girl group Loossemble. They debuted on September 15, 2023 with the mini album Loossemble.
2024: Departure from CTDENM, "Thank You"[]
On November 29, 2024, CTDENM announced that its exclusive contract with the Loossemble members had ended.[6]
On December 4, it was announced that HyunJin would be releasing her first digital single "Thank You" on December 16.[7]
2025: HyunJin 1st Fan Meeting, Triangle ENM establishment, solo career[]
On June 5, 2025, it was announced that HyunJin will be holding her first solo fan meeting on June 20.[8] The same day, she also announced via the chat app fromm that she will be managing her own activities from now on by starting her own agency.[9] It was later revealed to be called Triangle ENM.[10] On June 8, she revealed her goal for the year is to release more solo work.[11]
On June 11, HyunJin revealed she is preparing a band project.[12] She was also spotted with former Cignature member Jee won practicing that day.[13] Later through an interview on June 19, she stated that she would be working on the band project while also preparing for her solo album.[14]

- In 2013, HyunJin appeared in tvN's variety program 3 Idiots.
- HyunJin trained for 3 years prior to her reveal single. Out of all the members of LOONA, she was the one who trained for the longest period.[16]
- HyunJin's special talent is making dog noises (happy dog, alert dog, hurt dog and much more).
- Her nickname is Hyunjin-bot.
- She has two older brothers; the youngest brother is a main vocalist and composer for the band 'Bi-o-ne', while her oldest brother is in an acting school preparing for debut.
- She has a cat named Paldo.[17]
