Hyuk (혁) is a South Korean singer and actor under Companion Company. He is the maknae of the boy group VIXX.
He made his solo debut on December 18, 2019 with the mini album Winter Butterfly.

2012: Debut with VIXX[]
He made his debut as a member of VIXX with their first single "Super Hero".
2019: Solo debut[]

2022: Departure from Jellyfish Entertainment[]
On June 1, Hyuk announced his departure from Jellyfish Entertainment through a handwritten letter after 10 years with the agency.[1] Later, on June 8, Jellyfish Entertainment announced that he left the agency after deciding not to renew his contract, though he will still remain as a member of VIXX.[2]
2023: New agency[]
On May 22, the newly established agency Companion Company announced that Hyuk has signed with them and would continue to actively promote in diverse fields.[3]

Military service[]
On March 21, 2024, Companion Company released a statement which revealed that Hyuk would be the last member of VIXX to enlist in the recruit training center on April 18, with Hyuk later confirming this news through a handwritten letter.[4] He will be discharged on January 17, 2026.
