Hype Vibes (stylized in all-caps) is the debut mini album by S.Coups X Mingyu. It was released on September 29, 2025 with "5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)" serving as the album's title track.
The physical album comes in seven versions: Combi, Buddy, three Compact versions (S.Coups, Mingyu, and CxM), KiT and Weverse Album (QR).
Background[]
On August 11, it was announced that members S.Coups and Mingyu will release a unit album in September. Previous reports stated that they recently finished filming the music video for their title track in Los Angeles.[1] On September 3, Pledis Entertainment announced that the unit S.Coups X Mingyu would be debuting on September 29 with the mini album Hype Vibes.[2]
Commercial performance[]
According to Hanteo Chart, Hype Vibes sold over 600,000 copies on its release day alone, becoming the highest first-day sales for any K-pop unit album in Hanteo history. By October 2, it has surpassed 820,000 copies, breaking the previous record for the highest first-week sales of any K-pop sub-unit album, held by fellow Jeonghan X Wonwoo's debut release, "This Man".[3]
In October, the Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded Hype Vibes a gold certification.[4]
Hype Vibes debuted at #71 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.[5]
