Hyeyeon (혜연) is a South Korean singer. She is a former member of the girl group gugudan and it's sub-unit gugudan OGUOGU.
Life and career
She graduated from Ansan Yangji Middle School and Seoul School of Performing Arts
2016-present: Gugudan
In 2016 she debuted as a member of Gugudan with the group's first mini-album Act.1 The Little Mermaid.
In August 2017, she debuted in gugudan's first sub-unit Gugudan OGUOGU with the duo's first single "Ice Chu".
On May 17, 2018 it was announced she would take a break from the group's activitys' due to health issues.[1] Her departure from Gugudan was confirmed on October 25, 2018 and was said to be caused by the aforementioned health problems and for her to focus more on her studies.[2]
