HyeongseopXEuiwoong (형섭X의웅) was a male duo under Yue Hua Entertainment. They debuted on November 2, 2017 with the single album "The Moment of Memory".
They presumably disbanded in August 2021 and both members joined the boy group TEMPEST.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
In 2017, prior to the duo's debut, both Hyeong Seop and Eui Woong appeared on Mnet's boy group survival show Produce 101 Season 2. However, both of them sadly did not end up winning, Hyeong Seop ranked 16th overall in the final episode and Eui Woong was eliminated in the fifth episode, ranking 23rd overall.
2017: Debut with "The Moment of Memory"[]
On October 18, 2017, a typo poster was uploaded on Yue Hua's trainee project Instagram account announcing that Hyeong Seop and Eui Woong would be debuting as a duo on November 2. On this day, the duo made their debut with their first single album "The Moment of Memory". They held their special debut stage that same day on M Countdown.[1]
2018: Color of Dream, hiatus[]
On March 16, 2018, another typo poster was uploaded to the trainee project Instagram revealing that the duo would be making their first comeback on April 10. On this day, the duo had their first comeback with their first mini album Color of Dream.
Since the release of Color of Dream in 2018, the duo have been inactive and are yet to release any new music.
2021: Fancafe closure and disbandment[]
On August 13, 2021, it was announced by Yue Hua that the duo's official fancafe would be closing on the 17 of that same month.[2] Though that is what was set to occur, on this date, the fancafe still remained open and it is unknown whether or not the duo have disbanded.
They presumably disbanded sometimes in August 2021 due to inactivity.
Aftermath[]
- On October 4, 2021, it was announced that Hyeong Seop and Eui Woong would be debuting in the Yue Hua Entertainment's new boy group, TEMPEST, during the second half of 2021.[3] The group eventually debuted on March 2, 2022.
