Hwi Young (휘영) is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and actor under FNC Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group SF9.
He is also a member of the project group SHAX under the name Lee Hyun (이현).
He made his solo debut with the digital single "Drive5" on August 13, 2023.
Career[]
2016: Debut with SF9[]
He debuted as a member of SF9 on October 5, 2016 with the group's first single album "Feeling Sensation".
2023: Solo debut with "Drive5", "HBD"[]
On August 1, 2023, FNC Entertainment announced that Hwi Young would be making his solo debut with his first digital single later in the month.[1] One week later, on August 8, a first teaser was posted announcing the name of the digital single, "Drive5", which was released on August 13.[2]
On December 1, FNC Entertainment announced Hwi Young's first-ever solo comeback with his second digital single album, "HBD", which was released on December 9.[3]
2024: "Traveling Fish"[]
On June 1, 2024, Hwi Young reposted 1theK's tweet, hinting at an upcoming release on June 20.[4] On June 9, the single album "Traveling Fish" was announced.[5]

Hwi Young graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School in Seoul on February 9, 2018 and was a student in the Practical Arts Department.[6]
