Hong Seong Jun (홍성준) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and musical actor. He is a member of the unit boy group BDC.
He is best known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows Produce X 101 and Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor.
Career[]
2019: Produce X 101, Debut with BDC[]
In 2019, Seong Jun was a contestant in the competition show Produce X 101. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in episode 8 and ranked 51.
On October 16, he was introduced as one of the members of the unit group BDC. He then made his debut with them on October 29 with the special single "Boys Da Capo".[1]
2022: Musical theater debut[]
On March 22, 2022, Seong Jun was confirmed to be a member of the musical KLIMT where he will be one of the actors playing Egon Schiele.[2] This will be his debut musical theater performance and the first showing will be on May 3.[2]
2023: Departure from Brand New Music[]
On August 18, 2023, it was announced that Seong Jun, along with Si Hun and Jung Hwan, have terminated their exclusive contracts with Brand New Music.[3]
2024: Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor, "I'm"[]
In January 2024, he was revealed as a contestant on Mnet's reality survival show Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor.[4]
On June 4, 2024, he released his first digital single "I'm" ahead of his military service.

On May 2, 2024, Seong Jun shared through an Instagram live that he will be enlisting in the military. Prior to his enlistment, he will be holding a special fanmeeting on June 8.[5] He enlisted on August 25, 2024 and will be discharged on February 23, 2026.[citation needed]
