On May 3, 2024, Pledis Entertainment announced that TWS will release a pre-release single in early June ahead of their upcoming comeback.[1] Through the promotion scheduler for the second mini album Summer Beat!, it was revealed that "Hey! Hey!" will be pre-released on June 6.[2]
