Heechul (희철) is a South Korean singer, rapper, actor, radio DJ, songwriter and MC under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group SUPER JUNIOR and its sub-unit SUPER JUNIOR-T. He is also part of the project duos M&D and Universe Cowards.
He is mostly known for hosting variety shows such as Knowing Brothers, Weekly Idol, Lipstick Prince, and A Style for You.
Heechul enlisted as a public service worker on September 1, 2011. He was discharged on August 13, 2013.[3]

On January 1, 2020, local news source Market News reported that Heechul and TWICE's Momo were dating. Later that day, the reports were confirmed by both agencies.[4]
On July 8, 2021, JYP Entertainment and Label SJ confirmed that the two had broken up due to busy schedules.[5]
Before SUPER JUNIOR was formed, Heechul was supposed to debut in a group called Four Seasons with Kangin, U-Know Yunho and Hero Jaejoong.[7]
On August 10, 2006 he was involved in a car accident on his way back to Seoul after attending the funeral for Donghae's father.[8]
Due to the accident, he has metal rods implanted in his leg, which unfortunately affects his stage performances.[9]
After the passing of Sulli, he is now taking care of her Sphynx cat named Goblin.[10]
He also has a dog that might be a Jack Russel Terrier named Kibok and a grey cat named Heebum. Heebum was given to him by fans after his car accident.[11]
His favorite foods are fried rice with kimchi or vegetables, Hoengseong Korean Beef (Heechul's hometown, Hoengseong is known as the home of Korean Beef)[12] and Japanese Ramen.[1]
