Heechul (희철) is a South Korean singer, rapper, actor, radio DJ, songwriter and MC under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group SUPER JUNIOR and its sub-unit SUPER JUNIOR-T. He is also part of a project group called M&D along with TraxX's Jungmo.

He is mostly known for hosting variety shows such as Knowing Brothers, Weekly Idol, Lipstick Prince, and A Style for You.

  • Before SUPER JUNIOR was formed, Heechul was supposed to debut in a group called Four Seasons with Kangin, U-Know Yunho and Hero Jaejoong.[2]
  • On August 10, 2006 he was involved in a car accident on his way back to Seoul after attending the funeral for Donghae's father.[3]
  • Due to the accident, he has metal rods implanted in his leg, which unfortunately affects his stage performances.[4]
  • He is frequently called "comic-dol" because of his ability to host and ad-lib.[citation needed]
  • After the passing of Sulli, he is now taking care of her Sphynx cat named Goblin.[5]
