Heechul (희철) is a South Korean singer, rapper, actor, radio DJ, songwriter and MC under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group SUPER JUNIOR and its sub-unit SUPER JUNIOR-T. He is also part of a project group called M&D along with TraxX's Jungmo.

He is mostly known for hosting variety shows such as Knowing Brothers, Weekly Idol, Lipstick Prince, and A Style for You.

Personal life


On January 1, 2020, local news source Market News reported that Heechul and TWICE'S Momo were dating. Later that day, the reports were confirmed by both agencies. [2]

  • Before SUPER JUNIOR was formed, Heechul was supposed to debut in a group called Four Seasons with Kangin, U-Know Yunho and Hero Jaejoong.[3]
  • On August 10, 2006 he was involved in a car accident on his way back to Seoul after attending the funeral for Donghae's father.[4]
  • Due to the accident, he has metal rods implanted in his leg, which unfortunately affects his stage performances.[5]
  • He is frequently called "comic-dol" because of his ability to host and ad-lib.[citation needed]
  • After the passing of Sulli, he is now taking care of her Sphynx cat named Goblin.[6]
