Heat is the first special English EP by (G)I-DLE. It was released on October 5, 2023 with "I Want That" serving as the album's title track.
"I Do" was pre-released on July 14, 2023.
The physical album comes in eight versions: Blaze, Flare, and five individual member and group digipacks.
Background[]
On July 11, 2023, it was announced that (G)I-DLE will be releasing an English single, "I Do", on July 14. The group will be also be releasing their first English EP, Heat, on September 7.[1] On August 17, 88rising announced that the EP would be delayed to October 5 in order to improve the quality of the album.[2]
Commercial performance[]
On October 16, Heat debuted at #25 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, making it the group's first album to enter the top 25. It also reached #2 on the Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart.[3]
