Heart Rabbit Girls (하트 래빗 걸스) was a five-member South Korean kids girl group under Yoon Story Entertainment. Originally as an idol group, they made their debut on February 1, 2013 with the digital single "Round and Round" and re-debuted as a kids group on November 6, 2015 with the digital single "Kids Ang".

The group presumably disbanded in 2016 due to inactivity.

History[]

2013-2014: First Generation, debut with "Round and Round", second generation[]

On February 1, 2013, the group made their debut as the first character girl group in Korea with the digital single "Round and Round".[1] The lineup consisted of Heejung, Jieun, Danbi, Bohye, and Garyeong.[2]

In September 2013, Jieun and Garyeong appeared to have left the group and was replaced by Hyunmi and Yujin.[3]

In November 2013, the group appeared as a trio with Bohye, Hyunmi and new member Yuseul so it was assumed that Heejung, Yujin and Danbi had left the group.[4]

In December 2013, the group finalized its second generation lineup, consisting of Hyunmi, Bohye, Yuseul and new member Leewon.[5] They later made their comeback with the digital single "Ang" on December 18, 2013 with this lineup.

By March 2014, the group became inactive.

2015-2016: Third generation and disbandment[]

On November 6, 2015, the group started anew with its third generation lineup as a kids group with the digital single "Kids Ang". The lineup consisted of five child actresses: Yewon, Youngeun, Danbi, Hyori, and Jiyo.[6]

Since November 2016, the group had been inactive and presumably disbanded silently.

Aftermath[]

After the disbandment of Heart Rabbit Girls, all the members went their separate ways:

  • Bohye joined the pre-existing girl group LIVE HIGH. They disbanded sometime in 2019 due to inactivity.
  • Eo Danbi became an author under her real name and has published several books.
  • Jieun joined Secret Entertainment and returned to being an actress.

The circumstances of the other members are currently unknown.
