Haru (하루), formerly known as Ujung (유정), is a South Korean singer. She is a former member of the girl groups API and myB.
Career[]
2015–2016: myB[]
On August 25, 2015, Haru made her debut in Maroo Entertainment's girl group myB under the stage name Ujung. The group was announced to have disbanded after two singles on December 14, 2016. As a result, she left Maroo.[1]
2017: Idol School[]
After her departure from the agency, she decided to compete on Mnet's survival show Idol School.[2] She was eliminated in episode 9, finishing in 26th place.
2018–2021: API[]
On October 15, 2018, Ho1iday's official Instagram account introduced the final member to join their line-up to be Haru. They posted a picture Haru had uploaded to her personal Instagram account back in August of the same year, indirectly confirming Haru was U Jung.[3] In an interview right after debut, it was confirmed that she and Heejoo had previously debuted.[4]
On April 18, 2019, she made her debut with Ho1iday (now known as API) with a live performance of their debut song "Fantasy" on M Countdown.
Unfortunately, they presumably disbanded in 2021.
