- For other people known as 'Harin', see Harin.
Harin (하린) is a South Korean musician and songwriter under RBW. He is the drummer of the boy band ONEWE.
Career[]
2015-2016: M.A.S 0094 formation and debut[]
Harin is one of three founding members, recruiting two additional members to self-form the five-piece band M.A.S 0094, now known as ONEWE.
Harin, along with members Kang Hyun and Giuk, formed the band as the three youngest students of their music academy Modern K, when Harin was in his second year of middle school (around 2012). They then recruited Giuk's neighbour Dong Myeong. Lastly, the band met their final member Yong Hoon at a singer-songwriter contest in May 2015, whom Harin recruited alongside the band with a cup of coffee.[1]
Now complete as five members, the band chose the name M.A.S 0094 to mean "Make A Sound" plus the birth years of their youngest (2000) and eldest (1994) members.
From May of 2015, M.A.S 0094 began busking together on the streets of Hongdae.
He released his first single with M.A.S 0094 on August 13, 2015, "Butterfly, Find a Flower", and made his official debut with the band on August 2, 2016 on SBS MTV's The Show.
2017-2018: MAS and The Unit[]
On April 1, 2017, Harin, with M.A.S 0094, signed an exclusive artist contract with RBW and the band's name was officially shortened to MAS.
In October of the same year, Harin auditioned alongside MAS for the survival show The Unit. He was eliminated in the 7th episode and ranked 52nd place.
In June of 2018, his band's name was changed again from MAS to ONEWE.
2019: Re-debut as ONEWE[]
He made his re-debut with ONEWE under RBW on May 13, 2015, with the digital single album "1/4".
