Happy is the first mini album by Jin. It was released on November 15, 2024 with "Running Wild" serving as the album's title track.
"I'll Be There" was pre-released on October 25, 2024.
The physical album comes in four versions: Journey, Imagine, Navigate and Weverse Album (QR). Two additional physical versions for "Running Wild" and "Running Wild - Instrumental" was made available through the BTS official store for US customers only.
Background[]
On October 14, 2024, BigHit Music announced that Jin would be releasing a new album in November.[1] The following day, his first mini album, Happy, was revealed to be released on November 15.[2]
On October 16, SPOTV News reported that Red Velvet's Wendy would be featured on one of the tracks from the upcoming album. Representatives from BigHit Music and SM Entertainment confirmed the reports hours later.[3]

Happy was ranked #23 on the Billboard's top 25 best K-Pop albums of 2024 list.[5]
Commercial performance[]
According to Hanteo Chart, Happy sold 852,409 copies on the first day of its release, breaking his previous first-day sales record.[6]
"Running Wild" debuted at #8 on the Spotify's daily Global Top Songs chart with 4,936,542 streams on its release day. It also topped the Oricon's daily digital singles chart in Japan.[6]
"Running Wild" debuted at #25 on the United Kingdom's Official Singles Chart.[7]
Happy debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.[8]
Happy was ranked #19 on the 2024 Billboard Japan's Hot Album Year End chart.[9]
On December 29, the Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded Happy a platinium certification.[10]
