Hankook (한국) is a South Korean rapper and lyricist under Global H Media. He is the leader of the boy group TRENDZ and a former contestant on the survival show MIXNINE.
Career[]
2017: MIXNINE[]
In late 2017, Hankook participated in the JTBC reality show MIXNINE as a trainee from NH Media.[1] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the seventh episode, which was aired on December 10.[2]
2021–present: TRENDZ[]
On July 21, 2021, Interpark announced that they had established a subsidiary label, Interpark Music Plus, for their idol group production business. It was also revealed that the label is preparing to launch a new male idol group within the year.[3] On August 9, Hankook, along with fellow member Havit, were revealed as the group's first trainees.[4] On December 1, a new profile photo and film were released for Hankook.[5] They made their debut with the mini album, Blue Set Chapter 1. Tracks, on January 5, 2022.[6]
