Ha Sung Woon (하성운; or simply Sungwoon) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and musical actor under BPM Entertainment. He is a former member of the boy group HOTSHOT and the project boy group Wanna One.
He is known for entering Produce 101 Season 2 with fellow member Roh Tae Hyun (Kid Monster) and finishing 11th, becoming a member of Wanna One.
Following the conclusion of his Wanna One activities, he made his solo debut on February 28, 2019 with the mini album My Moment.[1][2]
Career
2014: Debut with HOTSHOT
He made his debut as a member of HOTSHOT with the release of the digital single "Take a Shot" on October 29, 2014.
2017-2019: Produce 101 Season 2, Wanna One, solo debut
Sungwoon participated in Mnet's reality survival show Produce 101 between April and June 2017. He finished in 11th place in the finale, thus debuting as a member of Wanna One.
Wanna One officially debuted on August 7, 2017 with their first mini album 1X1=1 (To Be One).
All of Wanna One's activities came to an end as their contracts expired on December 31, 2018. The group officially disbanded on January 27, 2019, following the end of the last day of their final concert Therefore.[3]
He made his solo debut on February 28, 2019 with the mini album My Moment.
2021: Departure from Star Crew, new agency
On November 2, both he and Star Crew Entertainment announced that his exclusive 7-year contract with them expired on October 31 and he decided not to renew. He released one final album under the agency, Electrified : Urban Nostalgia on November 19.[4]
On December 24, it was announced that Sungwoon has signed an exclusive contract with BPM Entertainment.[5][6]

Education
He went on to Division of Entertainment in Broadcasting, major in K-Pop Performance and graduated from Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts in February 2019.[7]

- He is close with BTS's Jimin, EXO's Kai, SHINee's Taemin and VIXX's Ravi as they play pool together.
- This was more evident when after the finale of Produce 101 Season 2, Jimin posted a picture of him texting Sungwoon congratulating him while complaining he couldn't vote in Japan even though he was Korean. Ravi also congratulated him by posting a video of him doing his acceptance speech.
- He originally auditioned for JYP Entertainment in 2010.
- He trained for 2 years and 3 months, if including Produce 101 Season 2, then it will be 2 years and 7 months.
