HYBE Labels Japan (ハイブレーベルズジャパン), formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment Japan, is a Japanese entertainment company. They are a subsidiary of HYBE Japan.

History

2021: Global Debut Project

On January 1, 2021, the company announced its "Big Hit Japan Global Debut Project" (later renamed as "HYBE LABELS JAPAN Global Debut Project") to produce artists who will make their start in Japan before going on to perform on the world stage. I-LAND contestants K, Nicholas, EJ, Kyungmin, and TAKI will be part of the project with auditions (called "&AUDITION") to be held for additional members before the group debuts sometime in 2022.[3][4]

On July 1, 2021, HYBE announced that its Japanese separate subsidiaries HYBE Solutions Japan and HYBE T&D Japan would be merged into the newly-established company called HYBE Japan. HYBE Labels Japan would remain as an independent label under HYBE Japan.[5]
