H.O.T. (에이치오티; acronym for Highfive Of Teenagers ) was a five-member boy group under SM Entertainment . They officially debuted on September 7, 1996 with their first album We Hate All Kinds of Violence . They disbanded in May 2001.
On February 15, 2018, they held a reunion concert for the variety show Infinite Challenge .[2]
They are considered to be the first K-pop idol group and their successful formula became the model for many K-pop groups that followed them.[3] [4]
