H.O.T. (에이치오티; acronym for Highfive Of Teenagers) was a five-member boy group under SM Entertainment. They officially debuted on September 7, 1996 with their first album We Hate All Kinds of Violence. They disbanded in May 2001.

On February 15, 2018, they held a reunion concert for the variety show Infinite Challenge.[2]

They are considered to be the first K-pop idol group and their successful formula became the model for many K-pop groups that followed them.[3][4]
