H&D was a male duo under PocketDol Studio. They made their official debut on April 21, 2020 with the mini album Soulmate.
History[]
2020: Pre-releases, debut with Soulmate, Umbrella[]
On January 11, 2020, Hangyul and Dohyon held a V Live broadcast stating that if the video was to surpass 100 million hearts, they would hold a fan meeting to greet One Its.[1] A couple of days later, on January 16, their label MBK Entertainment announced their fanmeeting Happy Day : Birthday set for February 2.[2] Teaser photos for the fanmeeting was dropped on January 18 and 19.[3][4]
On February 5, they released the digital single "Happy Day" made for the fans while preparing for their fanmeeting. Dohyon had helped with the writing and composing of the song.[5]
On February 24, it was announced that the duo will be releasing a mini album on March 26.[6]
On March 19, it was announced that their debut would be postponed to April 21.[7] A pre-release single titled "Unfamiliar" was released on March 30,[8] and was followed by their debut mini album titled Soulmate, released on April 21.
On September 3, the duo announced they would be releasing a special album on the 23rd.[9] The album, titled Umbrella, would be the duo's last release as they were preparing to debut in PocketDol's new boy group, BAE173 (which debuted on November 19, 2020).[10][11] On September 23, they released their final special album Umbrella. They disbanded sometime following their final activity as a duo on October 31.[12]
