Gyeongree (경리; formerly romanized as Kyungri) is a South Korean singer, lyricist and actress under Label Sayu. She is a former member of the girl group 9MUSES, its sub-unit 9MUSES A, and the trio NASTY NASTY.
She made her solo debut on July 5, 2018 with the single "Blue Moon".
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
Gyeongree was part of a pre-debut lineup of 9Muses, leaving before eventually debuting as a new member in 2012.
From 2011-2012, Gyeongree was part of the lineup for VIVA Girls, a seven-member girl group under Medialine. However, due to financial issues, the group never debuted. Other members of the group included WJSN's EXY and SeolA, Dalshabet's Woohee, Stellar's Hyoeun, Hello Venus' Lime, and Kiss&Cry's Soyumi.
2012–2019: 9MUSES, sub-units, solo debut[]
Gyeongree was introduced as the newest member of 9MUSES during a group performance in Abu Dhabi.[2] She made her official debut as a member on January 10, 2012 with the group's second digital single "News".
She debuted as a member of the trio NASTY NASTY with future group member Sojin and ZE:A's Kevin on September 3, 2014 with their single "Knock".
Gyeongree debuted as a member of 9MUSES' first sub-unit, 9MUSES A, on August 4, 2016.
On February 11, 2019, Star Empire Entertainment announced that 9MUSES would disband after nine years of activities. The group officially disbanded on February 24th following a final fan meeting and the release of the digital single "Remember".[3]
She made her solo debut on July 5, 2018 with her first digital single "Blue Moon".
On July 30, 2019, Star Empire Entertainment announced her departure from agency after the expiration of her contract.[4]
2020: New agency[]
On January 6, 2020, YNK Entertainment announced that Gyeongree had signed on with the agency.[5]
2024: Eternal Bloom[]
On April 11, 2024, start-up agency Label Sayu shared that Gyeongree had signed on with them with a focus on her musical career.[6]
On August 5, Label Sayu announced the release of Gyeongree's first EP Eternal Bloom slated on August 21.[7]

On November 12, 2019, local news channel SBS funE reported that Gyeongree and 2AM's Jeong Jinwoon were dating. Later that day, Jeong Jinwoon's label MYSTIC Story confirmed the pair have been dating since late 2017.[8] However, on May 24, 2021, it was revealed that they had broken up recently.[9]
