"Goodbye" (안녕) is the final digital single by 2NE1. It was released on January 21, 2017.
This is their first and last release as a trio following the departure of Minzy on April 5, 2016.[1]
Background[]
After 2NE1's official disbandment in November 2016, CL, Bom, and Dara decided to get back together once more to say farewell to their fans in the form of one last single.
CL revealed that the song was originally written for past member Minzy. She re-wrote them later to make them a message to Minzy and their fans as well. The song was also meant to be part of CL's U.S. debut album.
