Background

On May 9, 2025, Xsports News reported that ITZY is in the final stages of preparations for a comeback in early June, with a representative from JYP Entertainment confirming the reports hours later. On May 12, JYP Entertainment released a trailer for their upcoming album Girls Will Be Girls, set for release on June 9.
