Girls' Generation is the first Korean full-length album by Girls' Generation. It was released on November 1, 2007 with "Girls' Generation" serving as the album's title track. "Kissing You" was then used as their follow-up track to support the album's promotion. The album also includes the group's debut single "Into the New World".

The album was re-released as Baby Baby on March 13, 2008. The repackage features the original album track list, and a remix of "Kissing You" as well as the long and short versions of the medley track "Let's Go Girls' Generation!!" at the end of the album.

According to Korean Gaon Album Chart, the album and its repackage collectively sold 268,000 units as of 2010.

Trivia[]

  • The song "Girls' Generation" was originally released by Korean singer Lee Seung Chul in 1989. The singer performed with the group on a music show during the song's promotion to celebrate this cover together.
  • "7989"'s title refers to Taeyeon and Kangta's birthday years: Kangta is 1979, and Taeyeon is 1989.
  • The Skool Rock Remix of "Kissing You" is the winner of a fan remix contest launched in January 2008.
