Girls' Generation "The Best Live" at Tokyo Dome is a solo concert held by Girls' Generation. It was held on December 9, 2014 at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
This is the group's first concert without member Jessica, who was dismissed from the group on September 30, 2014.
Background[]
On August 25, 2014, coinciding with Girls' Generation's fourth Japanese debut anniversary, SM Entertainment announced the group would hold a concert performance on December 9 at Tokyo Dome.[1]
All available 50,000 tickets sold out, making Girls' Generation the first foreign girl group to sell out the venue.[2]
The concert was recorded by the Japanese broadcasting station WOWOW and was aired on the television channel on December 28, 2014.
