Girls' Generation-Oh!GG (소녀시대-Oh!GG) is the second sub-unit of the girl group Girls' Generation. They debuted on September 5, 2018 with the single "Lil' Touch".
Their unit name is a combination of the exclamation "Oh!" and "GG", the abbreviation of their English name.[1]
Following Girls' Generation's 16th debut anniversary, on August 7, 2023, member Sunny announced via her personal Instagram that she had decided not to renew her contract with SM Entertainment.[2] Therefore, only four members of the group remain under SM: Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Yuri and Yoona.
Though Sunny would no longer participate in the subunit, she remained a member of Girls' Generation.
