Gentlemen's Game (stylized in all-caps) is the sixth full-length album by 2PM. It was released on September 13, 2016 with "Promise (I'll be)" serving as the album's title track.

Background[]

On September 4, 2016, Junho posted a schedule of 2PM's new album release dates, the teaser images of the members were released from September 5 to September 8.[1] The music video teaser was released on September 9, the track list and album spoiler were released on September 10.[2][3]

The album is a celebration of their eighth anniversary together.[4] It was the final release for 2PM before the members began their military service.[5]

Commercial performance[]

Gentlemen's Game reached #1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and Singapore. It also ranked #2 in Malaysia, #3 in Hong Kong, and #8 in Macao. It also ranked #1 on Apple Music's streaming charts in Thailand, #2 in Indonesia, Taiwan and Malaysia, and #3 in Singapore.[6]

On February 26, 2017, the album peaked at #12 on Japan's Oricon's albums chart, remaining for eight weeks with 12,287 copies sold.[7] On November 25, 2016, Gentlemen's Game ranked No. 1 on the Gaon Album Chart with over 69,678 copies sold.[8]

The album debuted at #11 on the Billboard's World Albums chart.[9]
