IRO (이로), formerly known as Gabin (가빈), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and vocal trainer under Awesome Music Academy. She is a former member of the girl group Blady and the female duo 2NB.
She made her solo debut on March 26, 2009 with the digital single "Love Is Hard".
Career[]
2008-2012: 2NB[]
In 2008, she joined 2NB as a new member using her real name Kim Song Yi.
In 2012, she released two solo singles under the name of 2NB after Solji left the duo in 2011. She eventually left 2NB in the same year.
2015-2017: Blady[]
On March 30, 2015, she became a new member of Blady using the name Gabin and debuted with the group's digital single "Renovation". She stayed with the group until their disbandment on October 20, 2017.
2017-present: Solo career[]
In 2017, she joined LEON MUSIC as a soloist under her new stage name IRO.
In February 2022, she joined Awesome Music Academy as a vocal trainer.[1] It was later revealed that she is also the vice president of Awesome Music Academy.[2]

On August 17, 2022, IRO announced that she would be getting married to Kang Mincheol on September 17, 2022.[3] The following year, on March 17, 2023, she announced that she is currently pregnant and expecting a daughter.[4]
